PATTAYA: -- In the early hours of Saturday, officers from the Pattaya Police Special Investigations Unit conducted a raid on an Indian Tailor shop in South Pattaya where at least 3 Indian Nationals were allegedly being kept against their will.

The raid was prompted by one of the alleged trafficking victims escaping from the location and seeking assistance from an Indian Restaurant Owner who contacted the Police.

Special Investigations AKA The Fashion Police. Raiding one Indian tailor at a time.

shocking, but im not surprised what so ever..

What smells ? Apart from these scam artists and traffickers. The case is a real one reported to Soi 9 station by other Indian nationals in Pattaya and then acted upon. Similar cases have been previously reported in the press from ports close to here so there is no doubt that the trafficking exists.

I hope those sukrs stay in Jail for a long time, even better get deported back to India...

........when Thais do so...their names are kept out of the paper........

(.....and apparently, charges are never filed against Thais.........it gets 'sorted out'....)

Well Done.

Trafficking in Humans about even with the Slow Death Traffickers - Drugs - rely on human weakness

Scum

Too bad they cannot also be charged with "Selling of poor quality clothing causing a disturbance to the fashion world"

Human trafficking is the worst thing some people do i think punish them with harsh laws so that they should never think of doing again i think Thai police does justice to the people caught kick them out of Thailand with punishment ,

I don't understand. Why would anyone traffic Indian nationals? Everywhere I go there are lots of them there already, so what's the purpose of shipping in more?

Re-reading this it sounds a bit racist, but I mean it as an honest question.

Something really smells!

It's that bloody curry stuff they eat. Or the end result of eating the foul stuff.
