Development of the track is on schedule and Ezpeleta told MCN that a slot for a Thailand race could be made available on the 2015 calendar.

Well if it comes off I'll be a very happy chapie biggrin.png ...not too far from the outlaws either thumbsup.gif

Well, the track is currently trying to sign a deal with the Japan SuperGT organisers, amongst other things. Super GT is pretty impressive racing as well. I'm a four wheel lover, as well as a two wheel lover :D

Not knocking your choices, but I personally wouldn't ride 500km for a car race. I would for MotoGP though!

Another blog post about the MotoGP calendar and the possibility of dropping some events to give new tracks a piece of the pie.

http://www.twowheelsblog.com/post/37609/thailand-next-stop-for-motogp-racing

Yes I had read this part in other publications too

Dorna could axe one of the American rounds, which they are already considering,

with Indianapolis already making noises that MotoGP is no longer feasible,

or one of the four Spanish rounds.

On the Spanish matter Dorna also wanted to open MotoGP to the possibility of

more new talent from other countries. It has become obvious that so many riders today

are mainly from Spain due to the popularity & having four rounds there.

Isn't Dorna the only one who makes any money? Think the tracks usually have to shell out to get the race.

Piece of the pie, by my meaning that they get a round of the MotoGP. The tracks will still make money and attract other motosports
