gerrythepoet Posted July 5, 2013 Posted July 5, 2013 Carnegie;s Kingdom Dunfermline, my City of pure green No tea only gleaming white teeth The Forth, so clear and clean That wisdom be your smile. Black Gold you hold Coal never cold No tears do you give Solely hidden mystery Body Perfect in build Charismatic in strength Night sky dazzles my heart For you above are a shining star A diamond to me Radiant in colours Spoken through Rails Caressed by a striking hand Your depth of feeling I will grasp Land of beauty I do miss Wings of a dove Carried you away Dunfermline, Carnegie's star My heart you have torn I hold the memories of blue jeans at night Wondrous dances as the Waterhole drenches thirst, No time to ponder only to act The beauty of my life is Dunfermline Carnegie I thank you for Libraries and Glen In truth I love Carnegie's Kingdom
