Why The Happy Face? The Incessant "Happy" "Face"?

Featured Replies

I want to know:

I can understand why the happy face is used on TV.

This smile.png is used because people, people who are people, want other people to know they are not actually angry when they say things annoying or irritating to people.

They think the use of this smile.png , which is not representative of anything I see of any people I know, will somehow take the sting out of whatever they have just written, and that everything will be OK.

If this is true, then maybe I should use them every second sentence.

But it is not true, and I do not like smile.png , because smile.png or biggrin.png just are too f'ng far from the me which I see in the mirror.

Anyone who knows me knows that anyone of these wai2.gif is also not me.

What I like, is LIKE, and so anytime you wish to say anything insulting to me, I am all for it if you just tell me you have hit my like button when you reply.

Just wanted to say this so that you know.

So again, I prefer LIKE not wai.gif.

If there were one with the middle finger, then OK.

I used to be a fan of that,

Not myself using the signal,

Just seeing it in films.

What I like

Well I guess we can all get a good night's sleep tonight now that we're no longer tormented with worry over what you do or do not like. smile.png
