How can I intergrate two saterllite dishes through one cable

At the moment I have True visions the dish is fed into my TV sockets which were installed during the house build. This week I will be getting CTH so that I can watch the EPL I am hoping that the new dish will be sited next to the True vision dish and that we can link up both dishes so that we can watch either True or CTH through the same TV Has anyone had this done and if so what is required . I understand that we could not watch both channels together but as my TV has two HD imputs I am hoping that I could put a HD lead from each box into the TV. All constructive advice welcome I did ask the CTH dealer if they could do it but they did not appear to be forthcoming but if I know what is needed I could go and get the parts and hopefully get the installer to do the job for a few baht !!!!

Not sure why you posted this in Games Corner. Maybe a MOD can move it to better sub-forum.

Short answer: DiSEqC switch

Around ฿150, resembles a signal splitter, used to connect two (or more) satellite dish LNBs to be controlled from a single DiSEqC-capable satellite receiver box. <-- the 'capable' receiver part is very important.

Note: I don't know of many TVs sold here in Thailand that are set up to connect direct to a satellite dish LNB, normally each dish needs a STB (SetTopBox) or satellite receiver that will use its' own IR remote to control channel changes and the box gets connected to a TV via one or another A/V cable.

But unless you can find a Sat shop that has done this setup before, you'll will probably be running a new, second, cable to a separate Set Top Box and then using the TV multiple-input setting to select the signal from the True or CTH STB.
