Where to look for kitchen equipment in BKK

Featured Replies

Hi all Bangkok people! Please advise where is the best place in city of angels to find a professional or semi-professional kitchen equipment.

I'm coming to BKK soon and would like to shop around. I was told Chinatown is the place for that but do you know where exactly in chinatown? I've been there few times but never seen anything related to a kitchen. Most of all I'm looking for meat slicer somth like this: http://www.superiorfoodmachinery.com/images/products/zoom/1301390616-93491700.jpg and vacuum packaging machine. http://www.promarks-vac.com.tw/Templates/pic/auto_flatten_vacuum_packaging_machine_fc700-01.jpg

Thank you in advance!

Every Macro store has an area that sells commercial grade kitchen equipment. This store is not in Macro itself but in the same complex at least in the Macro's I have been in. Verasu here in BKK has upmarket mostly imported kitchen equipment (and prices to match!).

If you are feeling adventurous there is a large commercial kitchen place on Ratchapreuk Road. It is on the LHS driving out of town about half way between Homeworks and HomePro. You need to cross Klong Mahasawat on Ratchapreuk Road and it is about 2 to 3 kilometers further on. You won't miss the building as it is a strange shape and a dirty yellow in colour. They have the biggest range of commercial kitchen equipment I have seen in BKK.

Thank you VERY much I'll check it out!

The Mall Ramkhamphaeng (Just tell the taxi driver 'The Mall, Lam') has everything plus what you never thought of either.

For good quality cutlery then JJ is unbeatable. wai2.gif
