I think you have to upload the pic to your gallery (under the "My Controls" tab) or another website like photobucket. Then you can click on the "Insert Image" icon in the toolbar of the Reply box, and insert the link to the picture.

Pain in the arse, unless you already have the pics uploaded. If I have the pics on my HD, I just use the "add attachment" function instead.

Well yes. When you use the "add attachment" function, you get a thumbnail which links to a larger pic.

When you use the "insert image" function, and insert the hyper-text link to the picture, then you get a larger pic in your post (assuming it is a large pic).

For example:

Using the "add attachment" function (for a pic located on my hard drive):

Using the "insert image" function (for a pic that is stored in an internet gallery as previously mentioned):

It's called "hot linking." When you right click on an image while surfing click the "Properties" option. Copy the URL using Ctrl+C. In your post click on "Insert Image." A small dialogue box will pop up. Paste the URL in there and it's done.
