because the suspect had complained to police that the Attorney-General's Office should interview four more eye-witnesses to ensure fairness.

How the hell does this country function?

If he was driving under the influence of something at 200K, hits a cop drags him for a distance then speeds off home how did he manage to note four eye witnesses ?

He didn't, somebody worked it all out for him.

There's never a sense of urgency in the legal system as the DSI have proved so many times so it's not surprising the court appearance is right on the deadline for being time barred and is tailor made for a legal maneuver to take beyond Sept 3. If this happens and the case folds there will be no public outcry via the media as they don't do indignation, well not when it comes to certain people.

If i was a member of the murdered cop's family, i would dedicate a substantial amount of the compensation (hush) money already paid to them, into making sure that this little grub never walks again rather than have him killed.................make him suffer !

We all know that he will walk free, so make it his last walk.

families of victims ought to start protests in front of his residents, blockade the entrance, make signs 'murdering coward' etc. put them on youtube...make it known and make the family lose the credibility they deserve to lose.

Seems like you've gotta make some serious noise in Thailand to get anything done...make the international community boycott this brand of drink.

Anyone doing this would probably get charged with defamation and sentenced to a lengthy jail term...

Yep everyone knows hes a c*nt but no one can say it.......what a great nation!

Red Bull gives you wings???

Is it wings? I thought it was wind.

I thought it was a "get out of jail free" card?

Every chance that he'll be given a very severe lashing with a "Wet Bus Ticket." that should sort him out and as for the dead copper's family, well they should be pleased that their loved-one gave his life so that the son/grandson of one of Thailand's wealthiest was able to enjoy a bit of Motor Sport.

SERIOUSLY: Why don't we all push this story into Main Stream Media in the country we came from and try and have a boycott on all RED BULL Sponsored activities like the Grand Prix etc., That is the only way to hurt these PRIX (pun intended) hurt them by destroying their "Sporting Image" and business abroad.

I wonder what Red Bulls owner Dietrich Mateschitz thinks of all this?

Seems his companys name though its nothing to do with him or his company is getting a bit of unwanted press.

Fleeing the scene will be hard for the witnesses to cover up. He either stayed or he didn't.

Then that makes it easy for them chooka, ............................. he stayed !

"Ruecha Krairiksh, lead prosecutor in the case, said the indictment was postponed repeatedly because the suspect had complained to police that the Attorney-General's Office should interview four more eye-witnesses to ensure fairness."

I wonder how much this "fairness concern" cost Vorayuth and how much did the 4 "eye-witnesses" cost!

Probably not too much, they're having a 'promotion' on witnesses for this case. If you buy three you get one for free.

Then the little hurdle is how did he and his car come to be at home and separated from the scene?thumbsup.gif

From the article:

However, Thong Lor police had yet to submit any additional information regarding the suspect's petition to prosecutors, Ruecha said.

Now what on earth would cause the police to drag their feet on this I wonder?

The article says the statute of limitations to press charges kicks in on 3 Sept. Maybe some game going on here in regard to the extra information to delay past 3 Sept? Then it can't be pursued.

The most logical solution, real FACE savin-backstabbing Thai(Chinese)-corruption style:

Become a monk, pray in a temple for many many years, get an arrest warrant issued and sponsored by the DSI to protect Thailand from International FACE-SHAME, let Karma forgive you, and on the side collect more money from secret underground sources and commit even more crime where not suspected, and don't get caught next time...

Happy happy Friday rain... wai2.gifwai2.gifwai2.gif

Bit like the long-delayed KT passport saga.

I thought he'd got off already. Perhaps I just lost interest as the end result is a foregone conclusion.

That £60,000 compensation was certainly a cheap investment.

What a shambles. This statute of limitations has been so useful for the corrupt elite in Thailand. That is how he will get away with it. Either he will for some reason not appear in court - eg. run off to Cambodia or there will be some objections by his lawyers and the case will be postponed. What a disgrace and a shame on Thailand.

It says the satute of limitations was for speeding. Was that the only charge filed? Vehicular homicide should be a whole new set of rules. Much as cops iss me off spoiled, arrogent heir rich kids piss me off more.

Or . Find God and be saved from a low dispicable human existence and walk in the Grace of God with Budda. It does happen you know . Monks don't care for low minded bullshit in there midst for long. This would cloud their commitment to truth. You have to make a true commitment to awaken.or be expelled Awakening from your sorry dream life will change a person.

Is there something wrong with him mentally? He looks like an imbecile.

I have heard a rumour from people who would know, that he is on the autistic spectrum. Would never be admitted here of course

Well; that's his excuse for being a total spastic then....all charges dropped owing to mental incapacity !

Don't know about Thailand but the statute of limitations for traffic matters in Australia is 12 months but culpable driving (vehicle homicide) there is no limitation.

....in the beginning the media had said....'a known ******* user'.....

In most other countries the media would be following this with bated breath however here in Thailand they are either resigned to the predetermination of this pathetic culture or they are simply scared sh*tless of any retruibution from family friends in ThongLor. The only thing more sickening than a degenerate is a degenerate with unlimited funds.

For me that face and a Ferrari don't gel, wouldn't father be complicit as well.Looking at that kid I'd be concerned for a chuihuaha(sp) in his care

The reason for the delay is actually related to his inability to choose his accommodation for the near future.

A spoiled, unexposed baby/sissy drunk & on coke. A pus*y.

We've been hearing for a year that he'll be indicted.

If he isn't, hope the family of the deceased policeman can find some sort of compensation.......................................................

They already paid them a couple of million ( the family of the dead cop ) am sure they accepted it knowing he would walk anyway.

Speeding? The newspaper story soft pedals any other charges for which he should be indicted according to previous news reports. Such as vehicular homicide and/or manslaughter, DUI, drugs, reckless endangerment, cover up and collusion, obstruction of justice..etc.. Is this the same police station as the Thonglor police station recently arrested for kidnapping and attempted ransoming of two Italian citizens?

Yeah...ahm...except for Mateschitz is not the owner!
