Reliable Printer

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

We print approx 50-100 pages per day in our office. Must have been through 8-9 mid-range HP's, Samsung, Brother printers over the last 6 years.

We top up the toner by ourselves by using the kits available on the internet, but these machines seem to screw up after not too long. Genuine toner cartridges are a complete rip-off and one of each colour cost nearly as much as the printer itself - i guess this is how they make their money.

So, can anyone recommend a hardy high-end machine (approx 20-40k) with a print cost of approx 1-2 baht per page?

Sorry - am tearing my hair out with these smaller machines and there's no much left! :)

Thanks for any feedback!

i started leasing from Ricoh about 3 years ago, just ordered my 3rd one to finally retire the last of the old crap printers I inherited. 2-3K baht/month plus ~0.35baht/page (-2% allowance for jams, etc). Toner and service are included, technicians usually arrive within an hour when there's a problem, and they guarantee a replacement within 24 hours if they can't fix something on the spot. The only additional cost is paper. It certainly proved my cost/benefit analysis to management after the first year, I think we cut costs by something like 60%. If you PM me I'll give you the contact info for my rep, maybe I'll get a kickback! thumbsup.gif These numbers are for black only, print/scan/copy - we still use a few local printers for color so I don't know what that would cost.
