how true to yourself would you say you really are on T.V.

Featured Replies

Apart from some attempts at humour, what you see is what you get.

Or, more realistically, what we think we see is not really there.

Everyone's reality is different,

And therefore there can be no single reality.

Even what we think is true about ourselves

Is not true

And others can see that we do not really know ourselves as much as we think we do.

It makes no difference if we are on TV or if we are not.

We still do not know ourselves

But only think that we do.

So how could we be true to ourselves,

If the above is true.

Which it is.

Well you may not know yourself, but some of us are very analitical, and most certainly do know ourselves. It's called "finding yourself" if you have not reached that stage yet, then keep trying,it's a very long road!

To OCH and MAJIC: Is it really YOU, you have found, or has this trivial realisation manifested merely in a puppet of one's-self.

"Flies in your eyes" as Joseph Heller put it, in Catch-22

I'm honest but would add some bs for the comical aspect,

on a thai forum that would typically revolve around ladyboys

I'm maybe more true to myself here, where peer pressure is slightly hampered by distance and lack of immediacy
