WP and Passport

If you change passport during the validity of your WP, not because your PP is date expired but because of running out of pages, is it a case of WP office stamping new number in your WP or do they issue a new one WP that is?

They will put new passport number in work permit.

That was the last thing on my mind, I did not even think to go to MOE with new passport, regarding W.P.
