How much do you expect to pay for an ultrasound here in Thailand

Featured Replies

I have to go to hospital for an ultrasound under my armpit.. What's the cost of obviously that and then the doctor and maybe a blood test on top of that???

In Thailand most Doctors have an ultrasound in their office and the cost is negligible.

In Thailand most doctors do not have an office and work from a hospital setting - the hospital will have ultrasound and as I recall it is not very expensive.

Ok thanks guy. Really appreciate the quick response

Yes, not expensive. Depending on where you go, doctor + ultrasound maybe 1000 - 2000 baht max. Less in some places.

Agreed.

In CM it would be a bit less than this for ultrasound of a specific area, but pay a wee bit more and you can have a full abdominal ultrasound while you're in there. A worthwhile addition to an annual medical.
