Well it appears as if i have had my ip blocked, from their site. I signed up yesterday twice. Once as captains lounge is arse and once as Pool cleaner.

Not sure if i have been banned, i am assuming i have because i cant even get their site up, just keeps timing me out, and thats since last night. There is a differnce between my pool cleaner and the other pool cleaner and thats a space, i have a space he doesnt.

On the same token, a quick visit showed a few funnies. A member calling him/her self Dr_Patpong, someone taking the piss for sure. Another called "The Gent" which was definately Georgie Porgie, two posts only, one praising Boon Mee and the Bearpit and the other insulting. All very familiar. AND "The Gentleman Scamp" claiming he was posting from Iceland though the description he gave sounded more like a well known shithole down the coast from Beijing China.

Come on Brit, TV had to bring in new anti spam rules on this forum because of the level AE sunk to getting new members. AE was notorious as a forum that spammed other forums for members.

Your moderators and admin used to come over here and contact people to bring them over to their board. That's a gutter level forum by anyones standards I think.

There was enough TV abuse on there at the start of the forum, which eventually got cleared up. It seemed to start in a very similar fashion to TD.

The only reason its friendly now is because there is only a handful of posters using the site. When there was more, the admin and mods just couldn't handle the situation.

One of your mods even got sacked by the admin for making up other nicks and replying to himself in topics.

i've just had a look over there , its got a good layout , and some interesting topics , but the quality of the posts is pure trash , and the topic headings bear little relation to the garbage posted , at least in the topics i looked at in the forum called "the captains room" i think , a sort of bedlam/undergound type of forum , quite a few familiar tv posters over there.

Been there for a look (and a future stir). Some members there have become extremely insulting towards various TV members. They have posted pics of Daleyboy, Brit, Dave (and wife) and others from our members pics thread. They are somewhat incensed that Tv members are biting back by posting on their board and are crying foul. Pathetic little people! They get very personal about individuals on this forum, and exhibit immaturity and low intelligence in their endevours to insult in defence of their realm.

Daley - yeah TD has a bad habit of pasting TV topics into their own threads. The Missing Pat Pong thread for example, so they are very self absorbed with TV. I know who devil dog is and he's quite easy to find - no ######ing clue who Poolcleaner is, apart from his time on TV where he lost it and got kicked. However I have to say that lad is mental and he's gotten quite bitter. He copied our photos and posted them. I challenged him to post his photo, but he's too much of a coward. (afraid he's gonna get smacked or twatted)

I know in the open forums here, we have to be careful in what is said, in order not to caue problems for the board, legally. So surely tose same rules must apply to the bunch of inbreds on td? Is there nothing that can be done legally?

I have to admit I was a little nervous at first as <URL Automatically Removed> seemed like a bloody good idea. I know we've seen the 'no moderation' policy before and watched it backfire a little, but I thought this was a better idea, no mods as such and just a couple of Admins who were good old boys having a bit of a laugh. No rules, anything goes.

But they've managed to drop the ball spectacularly, hardly a thread goes by without an Admin or a cronie shouting at the wwworld that all TV memebrs are paedophiles, something that incensed me when I first saw it but now welcome, as each time they scream it they lose a little more credibility to a genuine new <URL Automatically Removed> member that has no idea about TV.

I understand the logic in PMing TV members to join a new forum - we are a dedicated crowd - and it was working well for them at the begining, many of our more borderline posters fitted right in over there. But now I see other members I know well from here, signing up over there with their well known and hard earned nicknames and getting absolutely slaughtered in their first 20 posts.

I cringe at how they get spoken to, but it doesn't seem to matter to their Admin, as afterall, we are by their very own definition - all of us - sexual monsters that prey on children.

Internet forums are anonymous, anyone can say anything at anytime, god knows we've experienced our own trolls here, but I think a good forum respects its members and enforces a netiquette necessary for all members to feel secure to post without fear of unwarranted flamming or personal vendettas. I'd be worried about my personal information should I post over there, one cronie already raided various TV members' photo albums and posted pictures with a rogues gallery insinuation, members wives and all.

I'd never heard of the forum, so I thought I'd have a look and see what all the fuss was about. I don't think I'll be in a hurry to join them.

Please don't misunderstand me - I like a giggle and a bit of banter and abuse is fun. But some of these creatures are nothin short of odious. They seem to revel in the fact that many of them were banned here and elsewhere - well, I can see why they're not wanted. If it takes moderation to keep people like them out, then so be it.

I'm obviously not suggesting that they're all like that, but they certainly seem to have their share including, I was sad to see, several who I'd always thought pretty ok on tv.
