Hi ( i hope I am not repeating) I would like to sit for driving test and get a license in BKK, i just finished my driving lesson. How long will it take to get the license? will it be issued on the same day you sit for the test? :o

Do a forum search for this subject. Their are numerous threads you can look through that will answer all your questions.

'Sitting' is not enough. But you get the licene immediatedly after having passed the

driving test as well.

The reason about sameday issue is i have only 2 days left in thailand to do the application. I want to do it in thailand as it will allow me to drive me for 3 months in australia before i got my license there. thanks ..

Good luck! And btw, I based on experience of my son who did it and got it here in BKK Sukhumvit, 3-4 years ago.
