BANGKOK, 19 September 2013 (NNT) – Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra has praised the students from Thailand National Defense College (ThaiNDC) for their ideas on national security and military strategy.

PM Yingluck, during her visit to Thailand National Defense College (ThaiNDC), attended a seminar on national and military strategies, during which a six-point strategy was presented by the Thai NDC students.

The strategy focused on 6 aspects of development, which included the country's being aircraft and automobile production base, the world kitchen for agricultural products and bio-energy, a production base for sustainable energy sources, ASEAN hub for tourism, ASEAN fashion center, and ASEAN health service center.

Miss Yingluck praised them for their bright ideas and vision, saying all these strategies would help support and strengthen the country’s national and security measures, as she herself was of the idea that Thailand needed to adapt itself to the changing world and be able to keep up with other countries.

The Premier also affirmed that the government focused on upgrading the country in all aspects and that it planned on spending 2 trillion baht on the country’s infrastructure.

Lastly, PM Yingluck told the students that she would forward their ideas to all related agencies including the Transport Ministry and the Royal Thai Army, which would likely adopt the strategies to their policies for the maximum benefit of the kingdom.
