ipad screen

Dropped my ipad today . Screen all cracked and past the insured period already.

So what option do I have now ?

If u can fix yourself . Buy iPad screen spare part of your model and fix it up . Or just go to official store and paid and get the original screen replace one

If you go to Apple they will just exchange for a new one and charge you almost full price (I think it was about 11000 Baht). Alternative you may be able to get it fixed in Pantip or somewhere similar.

When it happened to me I bought a new screen from Ebay and did it myself, it is a bit of a fiddly job but not that difficult. I think I paid about 25 US for the screen. The screens usually come as a kit with glass, adhesive strips and tools If you decide to do it yourself though also order a new WiFi antenna as it almost certain that you will damage it taking the old screen off. There are numerous videos on Youtube showing how to replace the glass and the easy way to replace the WiFi aerial. If you have bent any of the corners you will have to make sure they are straightened, the glass is very thin and any pressure on a lip from the damage will crack it.
