Pasak River rises to an alarming level once again. The last time this happened was in 2011. The water level measuring device is just barely above water. All this volume of water is heading downstream to Ayutthaya Province.

They have now opened the gates on the Pasak dam in Pattananikom ,Lopburi, to prevent flooding in the Pattananikom area, all this water has flowed in to the passak river, hence high water levles in Saraburi.

It is Ayutthaya and Bang Pa- In ,where the Pasak river joins the Chowphraya is where the problems lay.

One of the idears of the Pasak dam was to help preventing the flooding in Ayutthaya area some years it work's,most it does not.

PS there is now some good fishing at the dam with some large striped catfish being caught

My misses went fishing at the Pasak dam 2-3 weeks ago she said it was only half full then, all the rain from Lomsark soon fills the dam up ,and it is 23 km long.

This year, in this area the rain's have come late, and now allmost in one hit. 3 weeks ago we where making silage for the beef cattle, since then the the field has been under 2 foot water twice,we only have 6 Rie.

Still say it is to do with global warming.

Just seen Thai evening news, flooding in Ayuthaya, and Ban Maw in Saraluri ,Ban Maw is on the Pasak river.

Yours Regs.
