October 28, 201312 yr Popular Post I came to this thought when I made my daily delivery this morning. The spray gun was doing its usual and thorough job and then I realized it has been a while since I used toilet paper. In the beginning I used paper to dry it all up, but lately I just use a towel. The important thing is that the water pressure is right. I remember my old folks bringing one back to Europe and I tried it last summer. The difference is that in Europe the water pressure is about 2 bar so I found myself coughing up my an-us . It bloody HURTS!! In Thailand the pressure is just right so it doesn't only clean but also cools you down after the curries give you this burning sensation. To proof my method, just put some peanut butter on your skin (no, not your an-us but your arm or so) and try to clean it with toilet paper. You won't get it clean unless you use 6 meter of the white stuff. With a spray gun it is just point and shoot and all your problems disappear. What about you guys? You still use toilet paper?
October 28, 201312 yr Popular Post That's, we have reached the end, all thinkable subjects have been discussed on TV.This must surely be a new low. How about we re-open the "rain" thread again?
October 28, 201312 yr Popular Post He he, aint a topic of normal everyday conversation, but you got me thinking and perhaps its time to give up the toilet paper completely and save a tree or two. I think now, whatever did I do before the bum gun? The satisfying jet of delicious water leaving you cleaned cooled and refreshed-its what sets us apart from the other assholes.
October 28, 201312 yr Popular Post Yes! Of course I use toilet paper! I use it to clean my fingers and face while I am eating! Isn't that the Thai way?
October 28, 201312 yr Popular Post Yes, as you say to dry, it then goes in a waste bin NOT down the loo to cause problems. When I go back to the UK I never feel as fresh and certainly not as clean thats for sure. Given my Avatar, I dont like "klingons"......lol Edited October 28, 201312 yr by CharlieH
October 28, 201312 yr Popular Post I can confirm what the op says having just smeared myself with peanut butter. Unfortunately there don't appear to be any bum guns in Central and the bog roll has made a right mess of it. I was hoping to wait until closing time before venturing of my cubicle but the cleaning lady is getting a bit suspicious.Sent from my GT-I9100 using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app
October 28, 201312 yr Yes, as you say to dry, it then goes in a waste bin NOT down the loo to cause problems. When I go back to the UK I never feel as fresh and certainly not as clean thats for sure.+1Just to dry the area "I don't want to know why you can't. I want to know how you can!"
October 28, 201312 yr I stopped using it a long time ago. Water is just so much better. However every time a foreign chick visits me, they are like..where is the toilet paper? How to use this s....? Then I show them and they ditch the paper from that time on.
October 28, 201312 yr Popular Post Seriously?! Thais' still use Toilet Paper (กระดาษชำระ) they just don't use it the way Farang usually do! Thais' use the "Bum Gun" to clean their nether regions, then use Paper to dry "the area" and discard the used paper in the Bin situated next to the toilet; usually this paper is quite clean, though certainly not anywhere near hygienic .............. and certainly anyone who used my cotton or linen towels to dry that area would never be invited back to my home! Patrick P.S. Just to explain a little - one of the main reasons Thais' do not discard paper in the toilet is because the standard 4" piping is, in Thailand, for cost saving purposes, chamfered down to a 2" pipe which is more easily blocked by paper etc. etc.. October 28, 201312 yr Popular Post Would love to have a bum gun at home, but in the Scottish Highlands you'd end up with immediate brain-freeze. Even in summer, the cold water is C-O-L-D. In winter, you'd be likely to spear yourself with an icicle... The only answer there seems to be a quick up-and-under in the shower. To answer the question, I am trying not to use paper any more (in Thailand), but running round the room then standing bare-asseted in front of the fan tends to elicit peculiar looks from she-who-must-be-obeyed. October 28, 201312 yr Popular Post Since this is a subject. I use paper. Question to you who use the spray: How do you dry your butt and hole after the spray? Selfdrying in the undies??
October 29, 201312 yr I travel the globe and I have noticed that India they use water and their left hand to clean the ole sphincter, then heading towards Southeast Asia they have what I recognize as the Dish rinse we used to rinse dishes. I like a good wipe myself.
October 29, 201312 yr I never had a anal massager back in the usa. I still use paper after a good long rectal cleansing. I just went to mainland china where they dont have anal massagers in the bathroom and i was really missing it.
October 29, 201312 yr Water does such a great job. I have had to use paper from time to time and now it really hurts the skin. Had a TGF a few years ago and she used the bum gun to sky rocket my water bill. She was using it as a poor ladies vibrator. She swore it worked like a hot damn. I believed her because why else would she regularly walk out of the bathroom with glazed over eyes?

October 29, 201312 yr Since this is a subject. I use paper. Question to you who use the spray: How do you dry your butt and hole after the spray? Selfdrying in the undies?? If I were to use toilet paper all it would do is tear into very small, fine pieces and then I'd have to use the sprayer again to get it off. Yes, I know...better quality toilet paper. The little water left over takes almost no time to dry on the underwear. I feel a hell of a lot cleaner than I did in the US using paper. I'd love to bring one of those sprayers home if I ever went back. All you need to do to control the pressure is give it it's own cut-off valve and use the valve to control the pressure.
October 29, 201312 yr Thanks for the question...it caused me to think of some clever replies...made me laugh at myself... But in seriousness...I do not use toilet paper any longer...the water does a much better job... I use to have problems...when using paper...being sensitive to the sometimes abrasiveness of paper... No more... I am having one of these babies installed in my home in the US... Water cleanliness is next to...being more healthy...
October 29, 201312 yr Of course, I use toilet paper. The same way the Thais use it. It's nice and soft on the face and nose, and it's much cheaper than facial tissues for blowing my nose.
October 29, 201312 yr Thai visa has now reached "the bottom" with this thread. fixed: "the new bottom" :D
