Our apartment complex on Sukhumvit Soi 8 started the renovation of the swimming pool two and a half months ago. Back then, they said the work would be finished by the Songkran holiday. But now, the staff can't give us a definite answer when it would be done. We asked to speak to the manager but were refused the phone no!!

While we start looking for a new place, we don't want to pay for the service that is not provided. Has anyone had any similar experience? The contract seems to be ambiguous (i.e. the swimming pool can be used free of charge).

I always think that rather than get into a dispute where you live it is better to move. Once arguments start with landlords etc they can cause complications in the future.

If your not happy get out - if you can....
