I have heard the following rumours anybody know the truth.

1) Harrods will open in the new shopping mall Maya.

2)L.C. Mansion is being developed by a Bangkok company like Sansiri.

3) Superlai Condo permission denied and we will be given our deposits back.

Be nice to have some facts.

I believe Harrods has a dress code. At least they used to. They wouldn't let most people (farangs) inside because they would be dressed inappropriately.

who would want to go there other than LoSo wanting to be perceived as HiSo, and other poseurs?

Harrods CAKE SHOP AND TEA ROOM could open in Maya. It is very possible.

Harrods cake shop and tea rooms are popping up everywhere.

They have a few stores planned for Bangkok this year (and much more in 2014).

The first ones are opening in Siam Paragon and building opposite to Central Chidlom.

I wouldn't rule out any possibility now since Harrods is obviously even expanding in Vietnam.

Not to mention the Chinese are here in Chiang Mai. They are the one who tastelessly consume anything that they recognize as high class for low investment. (like the Harrods bags)

Other than that, no clue.

One I can confirm now is that Maya is going to have Chiang Mai's first 24/7 coffee/cake place for students called (grammatically incorrect?) Too Fast Too Sleep.

Superlai will only go to 17 floors at the moment.
