Hello,

Does anyone know a good place to buy those electric cars for kids that they sit in, and can also be radio controlled by a responsible adult? (!)

I've looked in the Big C on the bypass and Tesco in Thalang, but the selection isn't great and the mark up seems to be around 50%.

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

If you come to Bkk there is a small shop on Soi Ekkamai. It's on the left hand side as you drive towards Sukhumvit. It's only a small shop but has a variety of children's electric vehicles on display.Sorry, don't have the name or telephone number.

But they won't be cheaper than they shops you mention, why do you conclude they mark up 50%?

Would like to check out the store near central festival you mentioned, but can you be a bit more specific as to location? Just before Cenrtral, but from which direction. I went to a shop between the first and second traffic lights coming from the Phuket Town direction, but they only had 3 cars.

The reason I concluded that the small hobby shops in front of Tesco Thalang and Big C bypass have a 50% mark up is that the same car is 4000 baht in the 'local' shop that I mentioned in the previous paragraph which 5800 baht in the more 'flashy' hobby/kids shops...
