It may depend on where you are staying. Saving money on a gym only to spend it on transport to/from the gym might not be any savings at all.

I haven't kept track of all the gyms in Pattaya. I know of the Universal one on Beach road (by the Hard Rock Hotel I think ?). Then there is Tony's on 3rd Road of course (can't miss his advertisements on the local channels).

Another one (Chevalin ?) by Marine Plaza (not far from the Blues Factory, close to Walking Street). There is a gym across the soi from the DayNight 2 hotel as well. I heard they were charging 800 baht/month, but as it is almost a block from my place, I've been too lazy to walk over there and ask myself :D

Try the Golden Gym at Third Road, near South Pattaya Road. The guy who runs it gives also good advises on training, food etc.

There is gym in Soi 3 ( north pattaya, there is a big ship type of hotel that has a gym incorperated with the hotel but I think it was 700 baht for all day, at xmas time) but a bit further up there is another one, cheaper and with a plunge pool plus a good massage for after a workout, all in all I think it was 350baht.

Tonys gym on 3rd road is very good air-con with outside pool, sauna, steamroom. tennis court I think its about 180 baht a day but cant say for sure as I have the 1 year membership.

the Iron Man Gym down at Jomtien Complex is a good one.

1000 baht a month and Nigel the owner will advise you on a programme and he's a trained masseure and accupuncturist.
