Spotty Internet Connection

Featured Replies

Think the BKK protests are involved? Controlling the flow of info?

Connection terrible........off,on,off some more........

I'm on 3bb and it's been very bad this past week.

It's very on and off as you say but never for more than a minute or two.

It has to be protest related. Social media traffic and possible government suppression to curb the social media propaganda. Who knows but it's crap and I pay a fortune for it.

Same here, it stays connected but tells me 'no internet connection'.

And classic, right after I posted this, the connection's the best it's been in the last 3 hours..........AT !

I haven't had any problems with it (3BB), but it may have just been that I wasn't online at the affected times... Compared with a few years back, reliability has increased markedly.

TOT in Kathu. Sometimes "Connected with limited access", sometimes "Connected Local Only", sometimes connection not possible, sometimes everything fine. Seems random and completely unpredictable. Is like this for a few days, a week maybe, now.

TOT Kamala has been on/off for a week or so. Never more than a few minutes, but very slow for hours at a time.

My TOT connection is on, but it's quite slow. Have been since yesterday.

I also think that this is related to the protest in the way that the traffic is routed through interception proxies, which can not handle the load.

I've had no problems at all all day, for a change. Don't be so paranoid. If you've no connection, curl up with a good book. The Crucible might be good laugh.png

3BB working really good, downloading from torrents in 1 mbit sec right now..

It's off completely today.

Thank god I have 3g back up.

I am using 3BB right now.

As the title states, it's really spotty.

3bb just back on now.

But very, very sloooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow.

Our TOT and 3BB has been on/off for the last few days. Called 3BB an hour ago, they tell me there is an electric supply problem some where in Phuket. 30 minutes later my 3BB is back up.

Electric went off, came back on, back to normal speed. 10 minutes later, power off, back on, now internet spotty and when working back to dial up speeds.

Ugh.

This 3bb is ridiculous.

I'm really thinking about dumping it all together and just use 3g tethering.

Electric went off, came back on, back to normal speed. 10 minutes later, power off, back on, now internet spotty and when working back to dial up speeds.

Our electric off 12.40. Just back on 15 minutes later. This is becoming very tedious. Most days we have these power problems.

For the first time in recent months, Internet very spotty today - off and on again for very brief periods, often under a minute. Anyone else having problems?

Yes, I had a problem. No electric from 10.30 - 16.55 today - AGAIN. I am becoming very tired and annoyed about these many electric shut down this past month or so. I expect it also effects internet equipment.
