VIETNAM visa procedure

Looking to go to Vietnam what is the visa situation from here in Thailand I know the missus dont need one cos she is thai but what about UK citizens ? can I just get one on arrival like in Cambodia ? also what is the cost.

i read some warnings about paying fees for pre approved letters

I'm sure that it's a sponsored site. As there are many of them and they all say official site. Maybe someone will be along with recent experience.

I've used many different sites with no problems a number of times before. Best to apply 2+ days prior to arrival but urgent requests are available if necessary, at an extra cost, of course.
