Accident Elderly Disabled Man Killed After Being Hit by Car
Picture courtesy of Khaosod. A 64-year-old disabled man was fatally struck by a car while attempting to cross a road in Muang district, Chachoengsao province. Police Lieutenant Rangsarn Pongsuwan of Muang Chachoengsao Police Station reported that emergency services were called to the scene near the entrance of Soi Bang Khwan 2 on the Chachoengsao–Bang Nam Phreaw road at around 13:30 on 21 August. Forensic doctors from Phutthasothon Hospital and local rescue teams also attended. At the scene, a white Toyota Yaris was found with significant front-end damage and a shattered windshield, with strands of the victim’s hair caught in the glass. The driver, Mr. Porntep, 44, was present to provide a statement. Some distance from the vehicle, the body of Mr. Wing, a worker at a nearby ice factory, was discovered lying on the road. He sustained multiple injuries, including a broken neck and fractured right ankle, and abrasions across his body. Initial examinations were conducted at the scene before the body was taken to Phutthasothon Hospital for a detailed post-mortem. Mr. Porntep said he had been returning home after picking up his wife from hospital. “I overtook a car ahead and didn’t see the pedestrian crossing because the vehicle in front blocked my view. By the time I noticed him standing in the road, it was too late to brake,” he explained. The victim had been living at an ice factory, where he had worked for more than 20 years. The owner, Mr. Ratchanon, explained that Mr. Wing was disabled and normally avoided walking on the road due to his mobility issues. “He usually stayed at the shop to help with chores, so it’s unclear why he was out in the street today,” he said. No you can't... Not with high quality crab-meat... This is also ridiculous - Yes, the price was excessive, but surely thats up to the establishment... There is no way an 82 year old is ever being sent to jail because of the pricing in her restaurant - the headline itself is such a stretch. What of the markup on Wine in may other restaurants, often more than 2-3x the cost, but in some cases far more than that - so are those owners susceptible to investigation ? Next time I'm charged 4000 baht for a 1000 baht bottle of wine, or even 1500 baht for a 500 baht bottle of wine, should we create a social media scene ? -

Crime Woman Stabs Food Stall Owner to Death

The incident occurred at approximately 14:30 on 20 August. According to local residents, the suspect had visited the stall two days earlier and reportedly consumed alcohol heavily. While intoxicated, she was allegedly taken by a man she did not know back to his home, where she spent the night. This experience reportedly led to anger towards the victim, who was familiar with the suspect’s family, as locals say the victim allegedly failed to protect her from harm. Two days later, the suspect returned to the stall, ordering beer and a meal. After consuming a drink, she confronted the victim about the earlier incident before using a knife to fatally stab her. CCTV footage corroborates part of the account, showing a man in a yellow shirt accompanying the suspect from the stall on the night of 18 August, in a direction away from her home. The Facebook page Kamphaeng Phet Rongrian Arai reported these details, citing local witness accounts. The page emphasised that these reports have not been officially verified. A reasonably good chance of being true prediction coming from anybody. This is only noteworthy because it's possibly the start of maga people going there about Trump.
