Police Distribute Police Science Calendars To Improve Crime Prevention

The commissioner of the Central Investigation Bureau has designed calendars to be distributed around police stations and educational institutes to increase effectiveness in preventing crime.

BANGKOK – [PDN]; At 4.30 p.m. a journalist reported that at the Central Investigation Bureau, Pol. Lt. Gen. Phongphat Chayaphan (Commissioner) had made 6,000 Science calendars to be distributed to the police officers including various educational institutes for publicising further. The Police Science calendars are 3 page pamphlets which explain about the modern detective work.

Pol. Lt. Gen. Phongphat revealed that in the past Thailand was ranked comparatively with many countries but Thailand still had lots of crime problems. He had analysed the crime that occurred in the past and found that the important factor is the police officers must have the knowledge in their field of work to be effective.

The content of the Police Science calendars is about detection and investigation which categorises the detection styles in the past and present. For example the past detection would detect from internal to external which there were the inspection at the crime scene, considering from criminal methods, using science and the thought of police to judge.

Meanwhile, the modern detection has different practice such as the detection from internal to external and from external to internal, the integration of the crime scene, the consideration from the criminal methods with the criminal’s signature, the analysis of the criminal’s thought, etc.

Besides, there is the classification of the culprits in Thailand into 4 main categories that are: 1. General culprits 2. Psychopathic culprits 3. Mood Disorder culprits and 4. Cockeyed culprits.

The commissioner said further that if the police have knowledge in modern detection, they will be able to reduce crime and at the same time the police will solve the problems directly e.g in the case of a fictional Cartoon girl the police were notified that she was missing from the area of Baring sky train station which after the police were informed they must order the police officers to rush to the scene with the sirens sounding on the car and when the people see the police car going past with the lights and sirens going they may question what’s happened and may be able to assist with information or important clues to find the girl.

Moreover, at the incident with the hostage the officers should know how to secure the hostage. However, children, women and elderly are the perfect victims which are the gender with age that cannot fight against the culprits extremely well as they don’t have capability to protect themselves.

So this is "police science"? There is more science in the theory that this moron cheated the police entry exams and paid his way up the ranks.

Very important for ambitious cops to establish a reputation and get their name out front and centre. Various means can achieve this end. This is just one. He is portraying himself as the "smart cop". Other ways include the "ruthless, to be feared" cop, the "I have a famous surname" cop, I "can rake in huge amounts" cop.

But get yourself a name.

Cockeyed culprits? COCKEYED CULPRITS?!

This was great with my mourning tea...

My dear old mum was always suspicious of cockeyed individuals.

And those with their eyes too close together,,,,,,,,,,,,, like your avatar pic FF thumbsup.gif

The "old' ways are sometimes the best, doh !facepalm.gif

<deleted> is a cockeyed culprit

looking at the picture, the "cockeyed culprit" is the one in red on the right where it says "mass murder".

He kills many people -> as if he couldn't shoot staight (as shown by the bullet holes on the right of the target) -> as if he were cockeyed

But mainly, what the calendar says is "So far, our police force had no idea how to do its job"

"The commissioner said further that if the police have knowledge in modern detection, they will be able to reduce crime and at the same time the police will solve the problems directly"

He could try inserting instructions on police procedure into fortune cookies. Or maybe it would be more efficient to open a police academy to train new recruits? I know - stupid farang idea.

"important factor is the police officers must have the knowledge in their field of work to be effective."

Watch it now! All that training is going to get in the way of the work that the BIB really want to do.

Steal all the money they can.

They should hold a 48 purge whereby they all go around arresting each other until there is one left standing and then he should do the honourable thing and hand himself into..............oh dear, there's nobody left!!!
