"Touch Up" Paint for Cars etc.

Featured Replies

Need a bit of help, please. Can anyone point me to a shop/ outlet where they specialise in bits and pieces for vehicles, including what I really need, which is a touch up paint for a couple of stone nicks on my Mazda.

I know theres one lower ground floor Airport Plaza, but they dont have my colour, and (amazingly!?) the main agent/ dealer for Mazda doent even stock these little essential items, nor do places like Homepro.

Any guidance gratefully received, thanks everyone!

car accessorey shop in central ksk have many of them small touch up paints dont no if they have mazda though but they do have a large selection, think its the second floor,???by the toilets.

I agree with True Blue, there is such a shop in KSK. I also can't remember precisely where it is in the mall, but if you walk around you are bound to find it. I have had good luck mixing them to get the precise shade I wanted. For example, to get a light metallic green, I mixed dark green, metallic silver and a little white. With a little trial and error, trying it out on a hidden area under the bonnet, I got a really good match.

Get the paint code from VIN (ID ) plate , and try FORD dealer , owner of MAZDA.

I don't think that will help. Ford does not own Mazda and never did. The most stake Ford ever held was 33% and Ford's current stake in Mazda is only about 3%.

I am also in need of some Mazda touch up paint. Could someone please advise which city KSK is in (I am in Chiang Mai)

Chiang Mai- Kad Suan Kaew Mall in Huay Kaew by Ram Hospital

No Mitsubishi dealer in Chiang Mai keeps touch up sticks. When i asked why because they are missing a money making opportunity i was told ''Thai people don't work on their own cars, they get someone else to do it '' . So true; as with just about anything else...DIY....never heard of it !

Did you know that nail polish is perfect for repairing small nicks in paint for automobiles. The colors are so varied that they often match perfectly. Much cheaper than buffing out an entire panel to repair one small dent.

Find yourself a panel shop and ask the painters if they can mix some up for you. If you buy it over the counter the chances of it matching are very slim.

You may need an interpreter for this adventure.

Sure as long as your car is some variation of red.
