Where to eat a Christmas dinner?

Featured Replies

Hi,

I'm interested in having a nice Christmas lunch/dinner tomorrow, rather than Thai food, however I haven't really been in a Western style restaurant for about a year, nor know where a good one is.

Could someone recommend where I might go to get fat for the day? Assuming this is possible. Anywhere close to the main city would be great.

Failing that, I heard there's a good buffet in the Empress hotel.

Many thanks,

I'm signed up for dinner at The Pun Pun. The menu looks quite good as does the price.

Gekko is havin it traditional Christmas bash this evening. Seating might be a problem.

There is an American restaurant owned by an American on the 118 highway in Doi Saket 500 meters past the footbridge over pass as you drive north that is serving a traditional Christmas dinner starting at about 5 PM. I'm think the price was about 250 baht per person. The name of the place is "I Am Gourmet", it is an open air place that is difficult to notice but it is exactly 500 meters past the overpass footbridge and about 200 meters before the turnaround.

I eat there several times a week and the food is always the best.

Thanks for the replies, I'll take a look at some of these today.

I probably should have thought about this sooner and booked somewhere.

Thanks again :)
