Eating In Nong Khai

i am looking for a nice place to dine on the Mekong when in Nong Khai , any tips to a more top end place to eat ?

I like the Vietnamese near the market, Daeng. There is also Thai restaurant that is on a boat near there but I don't remember the name that was quite good

Be careful, there are some great restaurants at the back of guest houses in town. But be careful of the ones further out of town where most tourists visit. Very hit and miss, expensive and crap service. But don't miss the coconut candy, cooked on the spot.
