Looking for a good place to stay for 3 weeks.

Featured Replies

Hi everyone.

My family is coming to town from 7feb-27feb. We are looking for a nice vacation rental for a decent price (max. 40k baht.) that sleeps 3 people. Not to far out of the city. I have been looking for a while but, it's really hard to find anything nice for this price. If someone has any good suggestions please respond.

I stayed in the Old City a few times.

Last time with my Thai gf and my sister.

Stayed at the Rachamankha Flora House

They have one room with a Double and a single bed in a largish room.

The girls absolutely loved the place.

Maybe give them a call and see if you can negotiate a 3 week rental for your price.

Next door is a Western style place to eat and 60 secs down the road is a nice Thai place.

People are friendly. Has a small tourist kiosk at the entrance.

Can organise a private songthaew for not a lot of money.

Also get a price from this site for the same hotel ... http://www.hotelscombined.com.au/Hotel/Rachamankha_Flora_House_Chiang_Mai.htm

Not sure what you are looking for but try Green Hill Place, near the new Maya Mall. Nice pool/gym/restaurant, and clean well maintained serviced apartments. Fine for my visitors but yours may want more luxury...
