I'm looking to get one, preferably leather and not more than 3K baht.

Does anyone know of any shops in BKK that sell bikers' jackets ? I don't need those heavily padded ones.

Leather@3K you're probably not going to find- Panda Rider, The Paddock, and a couple other places might have an acceptable textile jacket for that.

Op. I don't think you have a chance of getting leather for 3k. Textile yes.. from about 2k. I got a decent one from 320sp shop,the brand is Nerve.

ll2.. the Jacket I mentioned is not fake. Just low cost decent brand "Nerve" also sold in Europe. Other jackets from 320sp may well be copies.

Paddock also sell copies and seconds..especially the cheap old stock.

Yep.because they were listed on "nerve " website as Thailand distributer. Just because a shop sell some fake or copy (mind you most of the stuff is not copy.just using brand names) does not mean its ALL the same. Some is slight seconds etc .. you look. If you think its OK. You buy..same as everywhere.

Apparently Central World Plaza will host the annual Bangkok BigBike Show 2014 from Feb 5 - Feb 9. I wonder if plans have since been derailed by the "shutdown".

but once they sell a lot of fake products, it gets hard to believe the availability of something real inside that shop.

Dr. Bike had a few leather jackets, I didn't notice the prices though. You could call and ask for James to check out the prices to save you a trip, since it's so fun getting around town lately.
