Eight protesters injured in bomb attack against Suthep's procession

BANGKOK: -- At least eight protesters were injured when an unknown assailant lobbed a grenade at the procession led by People's Democratic Reform Committee secretary-general Suthep Thaugsuban on Banthad Thong Road at noon Friday.

Myanmar to introduce permanent residence system for foreigners

Satit to discuss security measures with Suthep following spate of attacks

BANGKOK: -- Satit Wongnongtaey, a protest leader, said he would discuss security measures with People's Democratic Reform Committee secretary-general Suthep Thaugsuban followng a bomb attack on Banthad Thong Raod and attacks at the Chaeng Wattana rally site.

Satit said the bomb attack against the march by Suthep on Banthad Thong Road did not terrify the people.

He said caretaker Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra must take responsibility for the violence.

Bomb attack injures 28 anti-government protesters

BANGKOK: -- A hand grenade was thrown at thousands of anti-government protesters marching on Bantadthong road, injuring 28 people.

The bomb was intended on the life of protest leader Suthep Thaugsuban who is about 30 meters from where it landed.

Defence Ministry issues harsh warning against military involvement in protests

Dozens wounded in bomb attack against anti-govt protesters
