Parking at Suvarnabhumi for a few days

Featured Replies

I have got to park up at Suvarnabhumi for 3 days starting tomorrow, does anyone know if there is a long-medium term car park and roughly the cost ? Or is the main car park cheap enough to leave the car there ?

Thanks in advance.

There is a long term car park, but somewhat inconveniently placed. For 3 days, use the normal car park. But buy a brake lock etc and disable the engine.

Normal car park, 250 baht/day. Forget about the long term. No need to do anything special to the car, just don't leave the ticket in it.

good info to the post it seems also from the info whilst inconvenient for the user not so for any potential thief/vandal etc

but as said good info straight to the comprehensive point

Normal car park, 250 baht/day. Forget about the long term. No need to do anything special to the car, just don't leave the ticket in it.

That's not very sensible advice, mate. Thefts of cars and thefts from cars are very prevalent at the airport car park. Last year police busted a gang which included car park workers after a slew of complaints. I see no reason to be complacent about it now.

Guess I must be lucky, parked there 60 or 70 times for up to 3 weeks, never had a problem. Or maybe my car is not sufficiently attractive.

Well I am going to take WitawatWatawit advice and get a brake lock and take a chance, I will post a reply if anything happens to the car if I don't assume it was still there when we got back.

Thanks to you all again.

Thanks again, the car was still there when we got back.

Likewise parked there many times, no issues!

Here is the price list.

Monthly is only B600. Can you just buy it for 1 month only?

If yes, if someone will leave the car for 3 days or more, he/she may as well buy monthly pass

Just happened on this thread whilst searching for car park charges at Suvarnabhumi on Google, as i had to take a friend there this afternoon. 25 baht an hour and my car was still there when I go back. There are thousands of cars there. you'd have to be very unlucky to have your stolen!

Up to you.

I have parked there a dozen times without any problems. If you have ever parked in Liverpool you can at least relax for these 3 days away smile.png

250 a day is OK for the covered multi-storey and easy to get to departures/arrivals and the airport link.

Not really worth saving 100 Baht a day for the long-term open air car park.

Another disadvantage of putting on a brake-lock is that you'd have to park in a proper parking space which are often full. if you want to double park you have to leave the gears in neutral.

A common problem at Don Muaeng but at Swampy you just need to park one level above or below the walkway to the airport (floor 4?) and you will probably get within 20 metres of the lifts.
