NSPTR Leader Killed During Election Blockade Rally

Recommended Posts

Seems more videos are surfacing on Facebook taken from surrounding condos.

The Mrs just showed me one of the police telling the reds to go away, not arresting them as they should.

Seems one of the reds who says he was part of the attack group has posted on facebook that he hopes all the injured dies.

Before or after the clash?

After

Red Shirts muder somone and the police let them get away. While not unexpected I'm nonetheless speechles.

When you prevent millions of people from exercising their voting rights you are bound to make a few bad ones angry. Killing someone is always wrong but he knew the risks of his actions and paid the price.

Spot on. If you had groups of people in the USA, UK or many other "developed" countries illegally stopping people from exercising their right to vote, I'd venture that the repercussions would be severe and perhaps also lead to deaths.

And another thing: the yellow shirts talk only about corruption (and Suthep is just as corrupt) but what they are doing - ie, stopping people from voting - I'd argue is worse that corruption. The yellow shirts deserve everything they get.

I find it really difficult to fathom the the way Thai people are behaving against their own! Killing fellow countrymen over politics is so damaging; or they immune to it?

I fear the country is beyond the point of repair and any repair that can take place will be many years away.

Really sad what is going on .. Really sad for the all Thais.

People are acting like the victims here were on their way grocery shopping and were wearing the wrong color shirts. They were violating people's civil rights!!! I'll save my bleeding heart for someone else.

It's a capital offence to speak your mind on a stage in public, is it? That's what he was doing when he was shot.

Pathetic.

ThaiVisa has been hijacked by people with a political purpose. Call it boiler room politics. In the 2006, 2009 and 2010 disturbances there was room for discussion. Now, it's murderous and dangerous rethorics! I am closing my account!

Why not engage them in discussion instead?

This just show how violence the Red shirt can be.

The Yellow shirt has the right to protest, and they did it without arms.

Yaaaaaay for no weapons!

Only sticks, iron bars, slingshots, rockets, molotov cocktails and pistols.

But no weapons.

Yaaaaaay!

Too bad these are all people of the redshirt / blackshirt Thaksin-paid brigade. What a maroon!

Khun Ginjag!

Why do you assume I knuckle under, I don't. I have my own opinion as stated.

That it happens to agree with most of my family/friends is probably because we live in a rural community.

No we have not been made rich, but the PTP has done a lot more than anybody else for the rural community, health, education etc.

The dems did nothing.

And just taking your situation as one example , have your family and friends seen any evidence of specific pork barrelling by the PTP during these elections? I would have thought they haven't had the time to even think of any of that and they probably don't even have the money this time around.

So from what I can see voters in the rural areas will simply be voting by who they prefer to be in power without the other side being able to throw around accusations that there has been any vote buying ?

The second one looks real enough for you?

Or is his skin too white in the first one to be wanting to vote? Again, at the risk of repeating myself, it isn't an amateur pictures but The Nation's official photos.

I retract my statement then. BUT <deleted> does this have to do with the price of eggs - "Or is his skin too white in the first one to be wanting to vote?"

The violent Yellow "Terrorists" have been breaking every law for the last 3 months. It's about time the opposition starts to take back their country from these criminals. Anyone who posts here and tries to say the yellow shirts are peaceful are either idiots or just lying.

This is all getting exciting. Assassinations, street violence.

Come on. Hope it really kicks off before next Sunday. I've got a few days off and would make for some interesting TV.

be careful what you wish for. The sad bit is that the ones who have been robbing the country blind will not be the ones that suffer. Any death is one to many, Red or Yellow.

Robbing? Robbing the country. For the real structural robbers you have to date back before T was in politics. And their are definitely not Red minded. Try Central W. Family. Military top. King Power. Those types.

I agree winstonc, easy to understand why so many people around the country are risking their lives to protest against a vile regime that attracts such lowlife supporters.

That is not true.

The leader said more than 6 million came out on the street to protest in Bangkok alone.

BKK have 10 million people.

So, not counting those supporter at home, 60% of Bangkok people will go to black the polling stations.

Just like today, more than 90% (47 of total 50) of the polling station were closed by Suthep's PCAD.

Rest in Piece... nobody should be dying on this road to nowhere.......Whomever said 6 million came out into the streets is smoking VIAGRA... and it has given him a false sense of inflation... it's called creative math but...don't take my word for it.... Google a look at Wembley Stadium Filled to the max for a Queen concert (110,000) and then look at the drone shots of PCADS six million claim... at best 550k or slightly more..(if that) and remember Viagra.. no matter how ingested is only a temporary condition... it serves the purpose for a short time but at the end of the day... reality sets back in...not sure anybody will actually believe that 6 million of the approximately 9.3 BKK residents were in the streets protesting... but I guess if you repeat a lie long enough there are those that actually believe it..except maybe the leader who said it...

Looks like the Student leaders car was well armed.

Pics now of the crime scene (waiting for full translation) Saying this is the truck contents of what the peace loving students (all in their 50s) had with them

Be54mjrCMAA8YJo.jpg

Few guns, machettes, knives and shotgun rounds hidden in the back. As the reds didn't leave them behind and there was a crowd there when police arrive. Looks gen... Who knows.

Wonder what peaceful acts they were planning to carry out with them.

The ages... they are all getting well into their 50's if you see the list. Again. Not a student group, but an old style mob and coup mongering clique.

All the red lovers in T.V. will now be happy - of course it was Suthep's own people who did it - just ask a red and bear in mind they never lie

You pretend to be so wise and informed but the truth is that you don't know any more than any of us.

wai2.gif Sorry about that SAblock, you only mentioned his facial expression, others had mentioned his HiSo appearance in the first pic, should have left that comment for them only instead of adding it to this reply.

what's the deal with the guy taking the video? His vantage point was almost too good and he didn't even flinch when the shots were fired.

Military trained...

Finally, now Suthep will see the damage he has done to his country in his effort to gain leadership other than the ballot box. Shame on this terrible excuse of a man.

The damage to Thailand has been made long ago with vote buying, Look at the farmer who are waiting their money from the rice they sold to government, they are waiting more than 6 month but the government official have put their money in their own pocket

Would anyone really believe that any loud.speaker truck at these rallies has no weapons on it, red or yellow colour.

So once again. Who is this guy to have stopped ANYONE going to vote? Who?

Big difference in a picket line of men, woman, folks trying to get reform and boycott of a rigged system. They are asking for people to boycott the election out the front and they are not armed. They were set apron by groups of young men all shipped in for it. Armed and ambushed them as they arrived.

People are acting like the victims here were on their way grocery shopping and were wearing the wrong color shirts. They were violating people's civil rights!!! I'll save my bleeding heart for someone else.

Where is dear leader Suthep? He hasn't made a statement or appearance all day. Hiding, are we?

He has sent the next generation of his stinking family out to blood him for a lifetime of corruption and elitist shennaigans.

I agree with the the above poster. My grandparents always regretted that they did not fight fascism hard enough and early enough. Thailand, needs to get their house in order and these people either marginalised to the loony fringes of the system of put them out of busniness.

In the great dictators absense (Hiding under bed in 5 star hotel we hear) he sends out his stepson. So no worries about cronysim, nepotism... to add to the other disgusting traits he exhibits. Only in Thailand could people follow this mob in such ignorance.

He was from the student network, not pcad.

Protesters are the minority in bkk and they will suffer further losses next Sunday, if they try to block polling boots

You think 5 million protester (and growing) are a minority, give a break !! Are you looking only the red shirt tv channel ?
