But actually the main problem for most cycling accidents both powered & non like bicycles even

is the collarbone breaks

It is just a common break due to the flying W type crashes

So this type of technology if it gets cheap enough is something I would actually buy I think.

Like this Dainese D-Air for street

I dont know the price but if it was not too intrusive to wear & priced fair it might be a great piece of insurance to wear

under a jacket. They were pretty pricey last I checked
