January 31, 201412 yr Author I'm not sure how much that would help, if you hit the back of a truck. well I hope you & I never know But actually the main problem for most cycling accidents both powered & non like bicycles even is the collarbone breaks It is just a common break due to the flying W type crashes So this type of technology if it gets cheap enough is something I would actually buy I think. Like this Dainese D-Air for street I dont know the price but if it was not too intrusive to wear & priced fair it might be a great piece of insurance to wear under a jacket. They were pretty pricey last I checked http://www.dainese.com/us_en/d-air/d-air-street They have a track suit version like alpine too
January 31, 201412 yr Author Remember last year MotoGP Marc Marquez's Alpine suit measured G forces too? Pretty high tech stuff http://rideapart.com/2013/06/by-the-numbers-marc-marquezs-mugello-crash/
