My local news-paper ran a pun competition, to make sure that my name at least got a mention I submitted ten entries.

Did one of them make it?

No, no pun in ten did.

As I learn Thai, I realise Thai-English puns.... e.g I like going to the doctor, but the dentist is more fun.

I had a few more, but can't recall right now, however last night I did another with an adult English student ....we were doing sentences, and the task was to change to past tense. With the word "take" being the challenge, and her getting it right, I said , "Took!".
