Last time I checked in the UK, these machines were around £350,

Oops, posted too soon.

In the UK these machines are around £350, ฿17,500. The test strips in the UK are £11, ฿550 each. So, swings and roundabouts comes to mind.

I need to get one for myself. I'll check out prices here.

e-bay is the easiest and cheapest way to go.

you will find many will ship direct to Thailand.

i have both machines, alere in-ratio2 and roche coag-check. i have found the coag-check the cheapest test strips and is easier to use. alere had a recall on there test strips last year and ever since the price of test strips has sky-rocketed(supply and demand).

i test weekly.
