New Police service to provide support from the air.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Wunlop, the Deputy Chief of Banglamung Police chaired this meeting at the Police Station for officers from key departments to announce plans conceived by the Chief of Banglamung Police, Police Colonel Nopadon who was not in attendance.

It was announced that the Colonel has agreed a deal with a local Privately-owned airport to provide aerial coverage for the area. The service will be used during major criminal cases where fugitives have escaped and must be located quickly and for identifying traffic hot spots from the air. This project will begin on 27th May and a grand opening is planned at the air-strip.
