The Plank

Featured Replies

This afternoon I watched a video with mates called The Plank it is probably one of the funniest videos I have ever seen . It was written in the late sixties by English comedian Eric Sykes and starred Eric Sykes and Arthur Lowe . I had never heard of it before and I have to say from start to finish we just cracked up . The great thing about it was not one word was spoken . Very very clever . The video run for about 1/2 an hour in length . What show , skit or video would you say was the funniest thing you have ever watched ?

Not Thai related.

Yes great stuff biggrin.png

If I remember correctly there's a couple of other movies with the same gang, can't recall the exact names but one is about a plumbing job that goes wrong and another about a getting a coffin to the graveyard.

The original Plank (1967) stars Eric Sykes and Tommy Cooper http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0062133/ , the later remake (1979) is the one our OP saw with Eric Sykes and Arthur Lowe http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0079722/ .

It's worth digging out the earlier one, a lot of famous names in bit parts.
