The Comedian, Don Rickles, made his fortune by insulting others. He was a headliner in Vegas, the Catskills, and L.A. Nothing but insults... BUT... that was on stage. ONLY on stage, and only for show. When the cameras were off and the lights turned down, he was as kind and considerate as anyone. He was well liked by all who worked with him and all who know him. But on stage he was a bast@rd!

You are right. He did some sort of TV special in San Francisco and stayed at the hotel that I was working in at the time. He had a big entourage following him and I was the bellboy who accompanied him to his room. I was petrified that he would insult me all the way there, in front of all of them, but he was perfectly nice and gave me a big tip.

C'mon...as Homer Simpson says "give the baby its bottle". If these guys feel as if they're contributing to a better relationship to the BIB then more to 'em. What would all of you knockers say if you had an urgent need for their assistance? wai.gif

Why would you think i would consider calling these people if I needed help? I cross the street to avoid these types of people.

it is your choice and we all have choice. Even here.

Do we get this choice at home?

Be grateful. You may need them one day but again, you have choice to use or not

We need to 'know' before we speak.

That is not exactly true. I could tell you a thing or two about how Don Rickles really was in person. Maybe over a beer sometime. Not on the forum.

And I agree with WTK and others that the author of that blog is probably just pulling everyone's leg and making a couple of extra thousand Baht per month from ads. Just like a lot of us are doing also. I'm surprised how many people are attacking someone they don't even know. I read the blog about two years ago and found it to be entertainment. I didn't believe a word of it.

"Zanta is the true underage club in Chiang Mai mostly girls going to school"

Sounds charming.....

"Next we drive to Zanta cafe its one of only two underage clubs in Chiang Mai and its a great spot to pick up young Thai girls. By underage I dont mean 12 year olds either, underage in Thailand is typically girls under the age of 20 meaning they cant go into clubs like Infinity and warm up".

People know what 'underage going to school' means.

My bad Joe and apologies to the author, when I read "underage and School" I presumed he was talking about high school, not university.... makes sense now because a man in his mid 30's would have no reason to be out looking for kids still in high school...

I'll leave the girls in the underage club to the underage Thai boyssmile.png

After all this talk about Zanta cafe, I bet their business is booming by now. :-(

Ultimately the 'foreign police' should make the decision, and if they read, a mongers guide to chiang mai and especially this article...Sex with a Chiang Mai Rajabhat University Girl.....then they will know that perhaps constable ..... needs to hand in his whistle and uniform.....if as people say they are outstanding citizens trying to make an improvement then they have the responsibility to keep undesirables from their organisation....their credible future depends on it.....they simply can not have a member working with them that tarnishes all they are trying to achieve...they have the choice....do they want to be known as the monger police and have no credibility at all , ie, are they serious in what they are doing or are they all a joke.

If they are genuine in their intent and serious for the future of the ' foreign police' they can send a clear message that they are who they claim to be, decent citizens, by removing constable chris from the police force.....its up to them, if they do nothing it shows the true colors....I hope they are decent people and if so they will prosper, it is their credibilty on the line.

A good start... perhaps. But perhaps a better one would be to clean up the official ranks first before starting on the volunteers.

Is "Housewives" still open? whistling.gif

We know (or hope) that the majority of officials are moral, but we also know that there are a few that aren't. Probably the same with the volunteers. For that matter, the same with the entire population of every country.

Can anyone name a country that doesn't have its daily scandals?

Or even a group of people? How about an industry?

We are not angels. Let's not pretend we are.

It is hard to imagine how a member of Thailand's "Tourist Police" who writes articles about having sex with a Thai university girl or about Thailand's sex workers, could somehow tarnish the reputation of Thailand's police force. It seems to me, the Thai Police do a good job of that on their own. I don't remember ever reading the words honest, professional, or highly trained, when speaking or writing about the Thai Police. Personally, I think the Thai Police would just look at him as being one of the boys.

they are ' foreign police '....not thai police, we have no sway over how the thai police operate,

and they will be conerned with foreigners, when the farang public have dealings with the foreign

police they would assume that they are ethical and moral outstanding citizens...and not small time

punks who encourage sex tourists to come to chiang mai to have sex with school girls.

Their reputation is on the line, if they are what they claim to be they would distance themselves

from constable chris whose words are very close to encouraging kiddie fiddlers.

It is their call......are they real or not

Excuse me, but they are NOT police, foreign or otherwise. They are foreign police LIAISON personnel. The operative word being 'liaison,' not police.

If you need to throw stones, throw them at what they do, not at what they write.

Anyone can write what ever they want. We see this every day right here in ThaiVisa.

"Facts? We don' need no stinkin' facts! Just get the boiling oil ready, boys!"

But I'm pleased to see that there are so many 'perfect' people in Chiang Mai (despite their paranoia,) always the same people, and always around to condemn others so quickly.

It reassures me that indeed Chiang Mai is no different from any other place.

Just another day in Paradise...

I think Folk Guitar, Chiangmaijoe and CMNightRider have done an excellent job on this thread of consolidating my already low opinion of the foreign 'police' volunteers.

You got that 100% right....thumbsup.gif

Right. They are not policemen. What does that have to do with anything? Thais like uniforms. They have uniforms for many different occupations other than police, military, fire, etc., such as teachers, pharmacists, doctors, and they ALL look rather 'imposing.' Are you intimidated by your pharmacist?

You ever see a teacher in uniform? I have not. And anywhere in the world medical people wear uniforms. So I reject anything you said in your post.

I had an i phone stolen in a well known disco in Chiang Mai,so i reported the next day at the big police station on the Sunday walking street. When i arrived i tried to speak to a Thai police man outside who did not quite understand what i was talking about as my Thai is poor.He then directed me inside the police station where i saw 2 foreign police and i was shocked but it was a great service as i explained to them in English then they translated my story to the Thai police that my phone was missing/stolen ? They then traced my phones IM to a near by shop where it was up for sale and guess what the foreign and Thai police got my phone back. What a great job and service. Well Done.smile.png

Sorry to hear that your exposure has been so limited in Thailand. Thai teachers (government employees) do indeed wear uniforms and I have personally seen them on occasion.

Teachers are government employees and wear uniforms, but just on Mondays. Since we didn't go to school on Mondays, we hadn't seen most of the teachers in their uniforms before

and here are the teachers, seated with an eye toward hierachy as well, I’m honored as a foreigner, and am wearing my best imitation of the Thai government uniform for teachers Source

folk guitar,

these are the facts..

How to find a sponsor or a Thai escort cheap

The real cost of sex in Thailand 2013

Sex with a Chiang Mai Rajabhat University Girl

How to arrange a threesome online in Thailand

How to date multiple Thai girls at once

Mongers nightlife guide to Chiang Mai

read it, and read the comments on it, especially from the thai people.

what he writes is disgusting and indicative of a psychopath, sounds like he is a borderline

kiddie fiddler or

dam_n close to it...for a 32 year old male to brag about sex with a young 18 year old

girl from the country shows his state of mind.

and now he brags on his site about his work with the .police.

he proudly states that he has the balls, although if what he writes is true then one day

he might not have those balls.......good of you to defend whore mongers though.

his blogs say it all, thats the facts...if you find his blogs on schoolgirl sex not

offensive to you or not offensive to the Thai people, doesnt say much.

Constable .... proudly runs the website......

the foreign police should ask him to refrain from mentioning his proud position within the police.

seriously, if you make a living promoting sex with schoolgirls what do you expect...

the writings are the work of a sick mind....
