Want to get some business cards knocked up & would like some FREE s/w for the task. Recomendations please? Will do the artwork myself & take it to a print shop.

Print shops typically use Adobe Illustrator to design and print business cards. If you were to design your own card at home, first find the shop you want to use and ask them what software they use.

See if any of the freeware/shareware here fits your bill. OfficePrinter 2.0 seems to be popular, free trial for 30 days.
