Ais, Dtac And Truemove

Featured Replies

The announcement about the change of mobile numbers in September had prompted me to consider changing provider. Too many people, including those who sell pension plans, seem to know my current number!

Which is best, a new number with AIS or a change to one of the other operators? I use the phone mainly in Bangkok and Pattaya, and for overseas roaming.

Do you use AIS already? Then you know the answer - patchy service at the best of times - especially if you call another network. I've heard that DTAC have a deal on free calls from 5AM to 5PM.

hi there,

I went over to Dtac as AIS sucks and had too many problems. My Wife is still on AIS but intends to switch to Dtac too, same problems , either line busy or others can't phone in. Dtac has the special (they call it Buffet)for 299 THB /month and phone calls are free from 5am to 5 pm . Ais and True have similar packages , probably for even cheaper...btu doesn't help me much to phone for free if the line is always busy or can't be reached.

I also use Dtac for Gprs on my Mobile which is better than the one you get from AIS (use at 1 thb/minute) . In Bkk, Dtac also supports Edge too. All in all i am happy about the switch .

hope that helps
