Featured Replies

I'm picking someone up, their plane arrives at 11pm, we probably won't make the last train at midnight.

It's been years, do the taxis from Swampy use the meter after midnight?

We'll be going far, up by Don Muang.

Do the buses to DM run after midnight?

Thanks.

They will run the meter if you make them. Or either they will tell you no and put you out.

At swampy after midnight is no problem for the meter. I do it every month. But use the proper taxi rank at the ground floor.

Don't know about the buses, but just follow the signs for the public taxis and pick up a ticket at the counter. Meter plus B50 and tolls.

Arrived Sat. Night, didn't even have to ask, now , Nana or Cowboy different story, I always ask if they use meter before I get in, if they say No, Next...

Forget the bus. Taxi's use meters after midnight. As the previous poster stated, no meter no go. Most won't knock back a good fare to Don Muang. If a decent driver, give a nice tip. They work long hours and get paid crap. Fare would be 5 to 10 time more back home depending what country you hail from. Bugger <deleted>*king around with buses unless you are a backpacker with your arse hanging out your pants. Cheers.
