We see a lot of people on TV looking for rental houses, so I had an idea. If you see a sign on a pole or in a yard, without any other information, then just post the number and general area here. If someone is really looking, let them make the call, and or take the appropriate steps to find a Thai speaker to assist them. Then, if you find out some info, but the house isn't for you, then please quote the original post, and ad any information that was not previously stated. I had a great agent, and some here claim dealing with agents is a rip-off...we'll leave that discussion for elsewhere. But, since there is still no real centralized listing service, and many Thai owners won't pay a commission let's just list the numbers here, for the ambitious, who want to find a cheap house. There are good deals out there, but you really have to hustle. No condos here, please, as you can simply go into the lobbys and see listings for most condos.

So to reiterate, if you see a sign "House For Rent" with just a number. Please post it and the general location here.
