NOKIA X Series in Thailand

Featured Replies

Does someone know if this will this come out in thailand?

Not much info on www (yet). Seems like a solid (budget) smartphone to me.

(edit) typo corrected

Saw one on display at Big C in AmnatCharoen at the Big C electronic counters (Computers, tablets cellphones, etc.) If it's in Big C (especially if it's in Amnat!) it's got to be available other places.

^^ that website does NOT list any proper info on 1/ price 2/ where to buy

it's just the NOKIA site in Thai.

ok thx

I purchased one from a small mobile shop in Phuket for 3990B. Colors available: white, black, green and pink.

I rooted my phone http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/706655-nokia-x-forked-android/ and installed Google services to it.

After rooting and adding the GS, it's possible to install applications from the Google Play store (increases the number of apps quite a lot). At least I could not find the apps I wanted to use from Nokia/Yandex etc stores.

To be honest, the phone is not the a ferrari, but more like an tractor.
