I require a few passport standard acceptable photos to be taken and produced. Preferably in the Karon/ Kata area but Phuket Town or Patong as a last resort will do if needs be.

any suggestions most greatfully received.

Try the Kodak shop in Kata Patak Road, through the traffice light and past the gas station on your left, past market on left, and about 70m on the right is a Kodak shop. Might be one in Karon main street but I'm not sure where it is.

Passport standard photos, hm. Requirements for Dutch passport photos have become so complicated that you can forget about having it done upcountry where you live, they will only accept photos taken at the shop right opposite the embassy, where they know exactly how to do it.

I needed some Passport photos the other morning and thought it would be a simple chore but.....

First Kodak shop I went to in Rawai were open (but lady laying on the floor eating) said yes can do but have to come back later for pick up after 2pm... Hmmmmmm

Second place I go to somewhere on the road to Phuket town (on way to Immigration) say camera broke

(horse hockey the man in shop just not want do for me)

Tried one more place looked open but was closed feeding time i think..?

Finally by chance went below immigration where ya get the copies made did it for me 100bht 5 pics no problem

If coming from Rawai, stop at Fuji shop at Chalong circle. Good quality, and they adjust on the spot according to wishes. They even made mine acceptable for a new passport.
