Good day.

I would like to know where can I take a taxi from Don Mueang International Airport to Regent Suvarnabhumi hotel (30/1-32/1 Soi Lat krabang 22, Lat krabang)? May I ask as well how much I expected to pay for the taxi fee?

Thank you.

At the taxi stand!

Yes in taxi stand, when you will come out from the building you will see lot of taxi.

About the fare.

Your way is: Don Muang Toll way, Rama IX express way, n.7. highway, Romklao Rd, Lat Krabang Rd.

You have to choose you want to go in high way or normal city roads.

The highway fee is 65 B the Don Muang Toll way, and 50 B the Rama IX. expressway which you have to pay extra for the driver. The driver will ask you about it. Like this: Mitter, Mitter, haivééé? ekktra maniiiii ?

I advise you don't take a Don Muang Toll way but take the Rama IX. express way. The n.7. highway is free there which you may use.

The normal taxi fare is around 230 - 270 B depends on traffic. This is a long way, around 45 Km.

There were huge queues at the taxi desks when I arrived last week about 2.00 pm. Plenty of taxis though, just very slow issuing the tickets.

Going up to the departure level I walked straight into a taxi hanging around the exit end of the terminal. This works best if you have little luggage and can move fast.

The public taxi stand at Don Muang is now well organized and is now inside and at the end of the arrivals building. Turn left when you exit to the main public area and keep walking.

Good advice above re route.

Don't forget you must pay the driver an additional 50Baht on top of the meter, for 'airport service'.

This depends only on traffic, and the traffic depends on your departure time from airport.

If you start in rush hours ( 7 - 9 am, or 5 - 8 pm) I warm recommend to use highway all your trip. The time around 1 - 1.5 hours.

If you start day time or night time you can avoid them. Around 1 hour without Don Muang Tall way (elevated).

If there is any small accident you may wait a lot in traffic jam.
