We're in a rented house. The TV sockets are here, but we are not sure if the cable is connected. Can anyone suggest a good shop - we are near the Palace, who can offer us a good service on a TV and to find out what we need to have installed? (of anything) We tried Index, but they were hopeless, quoting 10,000 to have a cable installed. Need this in time for the World Cup.

there is a ubc reseller on the main road into town , they will fix you up with ubc.

the gee en teung supermarket have their own cable service but i am not sure how it operates , enquire at the supermarket.

the world cup is not being shown on ubc , it is only on thai terrestrial tv.

outside of home , best place to watch in hua hin would probably be the big screen set up at the hilton , or one of the bars around soi binthabaht
