Just out of curiosity, why won't it start? What is wrong with it? Maybe you can find a buyer with some mechanical ability/knowledge that would like to get her up and running again. Surely, you can get more than scrap value!

Hi,

Thanks for your answers,

It's a Lancer model year 2000. If you type in google you may see a picture.

We actually tried to fix it and put 20,000 Thb to fix the engine. That was done. But now they ask us for more to fix the electric. Finally, we just bought a new car and forgot about the Lancer. It is now at our mechanics were they've put it for sale. It's been there for 2 years+, that's why we really want to get rid of it and put this behind us...

Therefore, the question, were can we sell it for cheap? Scrap?

There are loads of those older Lancers still on the roads in Thailand, even older than yours. The worst case is to part it out, and I'm surprised your mechanic hasn't made you an offer to buy it and do that. If you put 20k into the engine, you might be able to get some money out of selling the engine alone. Obviously, it's not worth the time an effort for you, but you might shop the car around to Mitsui mechanics as a parts donor. Just drive around and look for car repair shops that have older Mitsuis around.

Yes, sorry about this, I honestly did not intend to turn it into an ad. PM is preferable.

Still looking for advices on where to sell this old car.
