Walked out to the street from my bungalow, check out the Songkran celebrations.

Four children had rigged a bunch of garden hoses to the building next door, ran them into a big plastic garbage can, and were having a BLAST throwing water - and having water thrown on them.

On the power pole they were standing beside, was an open plastic utility box, fastened to the concrete pole by a few wraps of haywire - door missing. Inside was a completely exposed 60A 240V circuit breaker.

Real Yoyo who left this like that.

Quick search found two pieces of corrugated plastic sheet, cut to shape, put one inside where the door should be, place the other over the outside of the box and secure.

Somebody dropped the ball.

great job... you're a jolly good chap and obviously quite smart and practically minded

i'm quite lazy and not very handy but i often notice these kind of potential hazards in bangkok

in future i will post photos and google map coordinates in this thread for you to take care
